INGREDIENTS FOR BATTERED PRAWN BITES

  • 3/4 cup AP Flour
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp unsweetened non-dairy milk
  • 1/4 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Coconut flakes
  • 1104 – Hokkaido Flower Squid, 6pcs
  • 1101 – Hokkaido Medium Prawn, 6pcs

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine the batter ingredients, adjusting the consistency using flour or milk.
  2. Bread the prawns by coating it in batter first, followed by the coconut flakes.
  3. Cut Hokkaido Flower Squid (1104) into finger size.
  4. Dip and coat the Hokkaido Medium Prawn (1101) & Hokkaido Flower Squid (1104) using the batter mix.
  5. Deep fry battered Hokkaido Medium Prawn (1101) & Hokkaido Flower Squid (1104) for 2-3 mins in 180 degree oil.
  6. Serve with ketchup on the side.
